KAY MCGUIRE

I am currently working as a staff first hand & crafts assistant at the 5th Avenue Theatre in Seattle. Between shows, I also freelance as a first hand at other theaters in town, such as the Seattle Rep, Seattle Opera, and the Pacific Northwest Ballet.

Previously, I was a Sewing Specialist for Walt Disney Creative Costuming. While at Disney, I had the opportunity to sew for a variety of the workrooms on the property, although I was primarily based in Animal Kingdom. I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2017, studying costume technology in the BA Theatre and Dance program, with a certificate in design for Game and Mobile Media Application.
